Description

This is an extinct south american equid Hippidion reconstruction. It was a one-toed horse with a strange nose profile due to a high nasal notch and long arched nasal bone. The eyes were smaller than the eyes of a modern horse and set closer to the ears. I depicted ears smaller. The lips of this browsing equid were prehensile.

this is really cool. I will point out that the lips of modern horses are fairly prehensile too! (though not as much as this)
