Description
I have been recently working on collars for Schleich sized horses.
For the Percheron mare I made hames from thick aluminum wire by drilling tiny holes to attach the rings. I tried to create the hames as realistic as possible.
The collar is made of leather and stitched, decorated with ribbon. It can be opened on the top.
The hames are not firmly attached to the collar, they are simply mounted on it, and tied with a chain on the top of the collar, the same as the real one. I used chain instead of leather belt to make the connection stronger.
All the harness parts are made of leather, fully adjustable and removable, all the buckles are workable. The crupper (also crooper) has been removed since it can not be mounted on this horse.
The background is a late winter scenery near my house.
